For all of the people who know me, they know that my preference has always been street wear. Growing up, I have always choose t shirts over blouses, sneakers over heels, and baggy jeans over tight jeans and hated wearing dresses and skirts. Now that I am grown I have ultimately found a balance within my style . But I’ll never forget what was most important to me when getting dressed – comfortability.
I this to say – stay true to who you are. Where what you like – not what other people want you to wear . If you like what’s in right now that is absolutely fine don’t let somebody make you feel bad about liking a current trend. I gain inspiration from trends sometimes and I’m not ashamed at all. How I dress on a day to day depends solely on how I am feeling and what I have to do that day. I’ve found that I am not only comfortable when I wear what I want but I am much more confident. Its taken a long time for me to embrace how I am and I am still working on myself day by day. But this is what my blog is for – for me to embrace and show the world my craft. Also, I use it as a tool of reflection and to watch the how much I improve in my crafts. I am only a junior in college so I am really curious to see how my style evolves within the coming years. But for now I am perfectly fine with where I am.
Thank you for reading this ! I hope I inspired someone to be true to themselves.
